She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Stowers; and her grandchildren, Jackie Ray Stowers II and Katie Shamblin. She is survived by: her siblings, Alama Lucas, Ruth Hensley, Helen Wiley, June Shriver, Alvie Purkey and Emmit Purkey (Bob); her children, Jimmy Stowers of Sissonville, Jerry, Joey, John, Jeff of Charleston, Jackie Ray Stowers of Lawrenceburg and Jean Moore of Glendale, Ohio.; and her brother John Purkey of Chapmanville. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
