She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stanley and Lois Pearl Brown Stanley; her husband Ronald; her stepson David Ray Steadman; her daughter Julia Lynn Smith; her brother Freddie Stanley; and her grandson Robert Steadman.

She is survived by: her children, Diana Gayle Truman of Cumming, GA, Sheryl Webb of St. Albans, Chuck Smith of St. Albans and John Steadman of St. Albans; her grandchildren, Tyler Matthew Hull, Ryker Hull and Kimberly Hunt; and her siblings, Charles Eddie Stanley, Libby Godbey and Mary Graley. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, great great granddaughter.
