She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Smith and Basil Smith; her former husband Dewey Barnett; and her siblings, Clara Smith and Ronald Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Neal; her children, Wendy Wood of South Charleston, Autumn Lucenti (Joe Smith) of Charleston, Theresa Franklin of Charleston, Dewey Barnett, Jr. of South Charleston and Travis Blankenship of Charleston; and her sister Betty Kunzelman (Danny) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting donations be made in memory of Thelma to: a charity of choice.
