She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Eugene and Ruby Pleasants Ginther; her birth mother Geraldine "Jerry" Ginther Lewis; her husband John "Shawn" Wesley Thomas; her sons, Charles "Chuckie" Kenneth Woodson, Jr. and Shawn Lee Thomas; and her grandson Paul Eugene Ginther Woodson.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Woodson Harper of Spencer, Natalie Woodson (David Watkins) of Elkview, Travis Thomas of Charleston and Steven Thomas (Montana) of Ripley; and her sisters, Paula Ward of Dunbar, Meka Harper (Jack) of Rand, Ruby Long of Charleston and Susan (Fletcher Hunter) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
