He was predeceased by: his parents, David Smith and Mildred Daniels Smith. He is survived by: his wife Shellie Lasure Smith; his sons, Dominic Lasure (Christy) of Charleston, Stephen Alexander Smith II of Charleston and Zachary Smith (Kaitlyn) of St. Albans; his grandchildren, Gabriella Stalnaker, Willow Lasure, Gianna and Beauden Smith; and his siblings, David Smith (Patty) of Milton, Deanna Tucker (Jeff) of Shrewsbury, Anna Brown (Sean Andrews) of Parkersburg and Michael Smith of Bridgeport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
