It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Thomas of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Meadows and Rema Meadows; and her brother Virgil M. Meadows. She is survived by: her husband Richard Thomas; her sons, Roger Bare, Jeff Bare (Tracy) and Duane Bare (Tonia); her stepchildren, Lisa Shank Rick Thomas (Vickie) and Sean Thomas (Kim); her grandchildren, Jared, Megan and Tyler; her stepgrandchildren, Kassie, Brandyn, Hunter and Katlyn; her great grandchild Lilly; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabella and Beau; her siblings, Alma Lee (Ira), Rilla Elmore (Sam), Dianne Smith (Gale), Leigh Penny Meadows and Samuel Stephen Meadows (Judy); and her sister-in-law Patty Meadows.
