Shirley Lee Layton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Lee Layton of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl White and Marjorie Copeland White; her husband Conard Layton; her children, Carolyn Layton Runyon and James Conard Layton; her grandson Johnny Allen Runyon; and her siblings, Robert, Earl, Jack, Larry, Gary, Jerry, William, Richard, James, Johnny, Mary and Betty.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Layton (Shirley), Dale Layton (Jackie) of Virginia, David Layton of Tennessee and Trinda Driessens (Kevin); and her siblings, Joe White (Elinor) of Alabama, Ruby White of Illinois and Sandra Crockett of North Carolina. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
