She was predeceased by: her parents, Rome Cottrell and Gladys Petry Cottrell; and her son Albert James Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Albert Rowlands; her children, Sheila Naidu (Shashi), Sherry Cunningham (Robert) and Timothy Rowlands (Amber); her brothers, Donald Cottrell (Pat), C. J. Cottrell (Bertie) and Tom Cottrell; her half-brothers, Jim and Sam Cottrell; her sisters, Fay Cottrell and Sue Allen; her half-sister Kay Cottrell Taylor; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Brian, Kevin, Cody and Kara. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
