It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jane Johnstone (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Elmore and Genevieve Elmore. She is survived by: her husband Jim Johnstone; her daughter Christina Johnstone; her grandson Adam Johnstone; her daughter-in-law Meridith O. Johnstone; her granddaughters, Peyton Johnstone and Kathryn Spradling; her brother Robert Elmore; her sisters-in-law, Susan Elmore, Sally Keeling, Mary Mizell and Joanne Johnstone; her aunts, Beulah Rhodes and Thelma Jackson; her uncle Johnny Jackson; and her pet Sunshine.
COVID precautions will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
