It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Ann Slater of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Francisco and Marion Francisco; her husband Robert O. Slater, Sr.; and her siblings, Myron C. Ray, Jack Earl Ray and Marketa Lovenguth.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Allen Ray (Kathy) of Sissonville, Verna Burford (Charles) of Charleston, Elizabeth Ann Schleifer (Ronald) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Robert O. Slater, Jr. (Anna) of Cross Lanes, Michael Gregory Slater of Charleston and Amber Renee Slater of Charleston. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
