With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherman Nearman of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on July 15, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sherman Nearman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Harvit Nearman; his parents, Mae Lopinsky and Phillip Nearman; his siblings, Sidney, Robert and Esther Forsley; and his cousin Sidney Lopinsky.

He is survived by: his children, Merrill Nearman of Park City, UT, Henry Nearman (Tammy) of Charleston and Polly Webb (Josh) of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Megan Egnor (KC) of Clendenin, WV, Ethan Greene of Baltimore, Davey and Zoey Nearman of Park City; his great grandchildren, Josiah and Shaun Bradsher; his stepgrandson Trevor Egnor of Clendenin; and his pet Chilito.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the B'nai Jacob Synagogue: Mollie Lopinsky Kitchen Fund.
