She is survived by: her children, Dr. John Hunter Lewis (Tammy) of Charleston and Martha Dawn Mullins (Sam) of Tennessee; and her grandsons, Matthew Hunter Lewis (Emily Grace Lewis) and John (Melvin Malcolm). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
