He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Parsons; his son James "Jamie" Harold; his parents, Sankey Parsons and Dorothy Parsons; his siblings, James and Patty; and his brother-in-law Neville.
He is survived by: his children, Wendell Parsons (Rae Ann), Tonia P. Shelton and Stephen Parsons (Maurica); his grandchildren, Jason Parsons (Stephanie), Jake Shelton (Amy), Jamie Shelton, Cortney Parsons and Michael Parsons; and his great grandchildren, Jared, Lilly, Jan and Evelyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, a family graveside service will be held at 11 a. m. on Friday, April 17, at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
