She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Shaffer and Mamie Alkire Shaffer of Parkersburg. She is survived by: her husband Reverend William "Bill" Fitzwater of Charleston; her daughter Lynda Fitzwater Sanders of Charleston; her grandchildren, Autumn Sanders Bice of Dunbar and Dakota Sanders (Crystal) of South Charleston; her great grandchildren, Julian, Riley Bice and Avery Alberts; her nephew Bill Dobbs; and also, Donna Green, Cathy Roberts and Ruth.
