Rosemary Eileen Atkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Eileen Atkins (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert McSurley and Grace Gatens McSurley; her husband Cam L. Atkins; her children, Cameron Atkins and Rose Ann Atkins; and her siblings, Patty Landers and Greg Dearien.
She is survived by: her daughter Lora Marshall (Don) of Charleston; her siblings, Anna Jean Ross of Charleston, Janet Elswick of Tennessee, Diane Hussell of Point Pleasant and Ross McSurley of Weirton; and her grandchildren, Sarah Good (John), Mary Walker (Mike), Jessy Snodgrass (John) and Cody Atkins. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private family visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM on Tuesday October 6, 2020 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden followed by a public Graveside Service at 2:00 PM at Montgomery Memorial Park, London with Rev. Earl Cochran officiating. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
