He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Combs and Ruth Elizabeth Bailey Combs; his daughter Bobbie Jo Combs; and his sister Kim Combs. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Kay" Young Combs; his children, Jeremy Combs of Charleston and Elizabeth Combs of Bancroft; his grandchildren, Jordan Cambell and Brooklyn Pace; and his siblings, Robert, Glen, Darrell, Tony, Chris and Regina Flanagan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
