He was predeceased by: his parents, Naoma Helen Mullins-Stewart and Clifton Stewart; and his siblings, Betty Jo Hackney, Velma Faye Justice, Brenda Sue Stone, Lylia Kay Mitchell, Donna Gay Stewart and Arnett Harold 'Buck Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Sue Coleman Stewart; his children, Bree Dalene Stewart (Shane) of Charleston, WV, Sarah Elizabeth Westergren (John) of Raymore, Missouri and Matthew Keeney of Charleston, WV; his grandchildren, Emily Mae Shaffer, Levi Joseph Westergren and Aiden Keeney; and his siblings, Vicki Lynn Stewart and Gary Dean Stewart. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
