He was predeceased by: his parents, June Bennett Arnold and Leslie Harvey Arnold; his sisters, Joan Leslie Glancy and Lois Arnold Keeney; his brothers-in-law, Stacy Lee Keeney and Lewis Malcolm "Mike" Totten; and his friend Robbie Layne.

He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara G. Arnold of Charleston and Mary Arnold Totten of Belle; his nieces and nephews, Marti Keeney of Raleigh, Kristiin Mary Glancy of Saint Albans, Patrick William Glancy (Stephanie Glancy) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mark Leslie Totten of Charleston and Barry Leslie Keeney (Charlotte) of Spartanburg; his stepson Austin Robert Knox (Ark) of Elkview; his great-nephews, Kyle Keeney of Goose Creek, Kevin, Connor Keeney of Spartanburg and Roger; his cousin Patrick Arnold of Racine; and his friends, Warren Grace, Sharon Layne Taylor and Jeff Thompson.
