He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Martin and Catherine Martin (Peddle). He is survived by: his wife Irene Martin; his children, James Martin (Lori) and Lynn Colyn (Dan); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Paige and Kyle.

Donations may be made in his loving memory to O'Shaughnessy House, Baccalieu Trail SPCA or the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank.
