He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Anna Katherine Barrington (Mooney) of Charleston, WV and Gladys Sherry Blackshire (Mooney) of Cincinnati; his daughter Kelli Jo Wray; and his grandson Kevin Mac Barefoot III of North Carolina. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
