He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Audrey Parcell; his sister Carolyn Sue "Susie" Harper; and his daughter Trenda Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kinder; his sons, Robert Kinder, Jr., Jackie "Ike" Sparks, Clyde Sparks (Dorcas), Dwight Sparks (Rhonda), Marty Sparks (Debbie) and Michael Sparks; his siblings, Roger Parcell (Annette), Jeff Chapman and Brenda Howard (Matt); his grandchildren, Brent Sparks, Tiffany Sparks, Justin Sparks, Michael Sparks, Craig Sparks and Michael Houchins; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Jacqlyn, Natalie, Nicole, Levi, Trevor and Carter; his great great grandchildren, Kennedy, Brycen and Amelia; and his cousins, Ted Parcell, Cathy Gatson (Benny) and Charlie Gatson (Brenda).
