He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Young and Irene Young of Elkview. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellen; his daughter Kimberly Thomas (Sam); his granddaughter Ellie Dawn Corns (Samuel); and his in-laws, Sally Totton (Junior), James Harrison (Debbie), Jack Harrison (Sherry) and Jill Pike. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
