Richard Lewis Songer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2022, at the age of 64, Richard Lewis Songer of Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Dustin Songer; his parents, Fredric Fields and Anne Harper Fields; his brothers, Roger Songer, Anthony Fields, Robert Fields and Samuel Fields; and his close friend Molly Copen.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Songer; his grandchildren, Destyni, Daniel Kochan and Kaiah Cobb; his wife Elizabeth Blankenship of Moyock, NC; his siblings, Kevin Fields (Cheryl) of St. Albans, Phyllis Harrah (John) of Charleston and Donna Smith (Brian) of Kenna; his friends, Tim Keeley of Charleston, Carl Gunoe of Charleston, Sam Sloan of Charleston, Seth and Nancy Copen of Charleston; his aunts, Charlotte Williams of Charleston, Donna Weistiener of Charleston, Peggy Johnson of Charleston and Mary Jo Harper; and his uncle Walt Harper of South Charleston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
