He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jack Payne, Maxine West and Joann Hammond. He is survived by: his friends, John Payne and Martha Payne; his spouses, Genevieve Young and Darcy; his nieces and nephews, Kate Yancy, Nan Milholen, Mindy Young, Scott West, John Payne and Mike Payne; and also, Greg Payne, Seth, Anna and Rachel.

In lieu of flowers Ralph requested that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
