He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Butler and Glada Lanham Butler. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dee" Baughman Butler; his son Tim Butler of Charleston; his siblings, Betty Lambert, Ann Taylor of Charleston and John Butler (Jean) of White Post, VA; his parents-in-law, Jo Ann Binford of Tega Cay, SC, Paul Baughman (Lillie) of Birch River and Bonnie Mattox of Fort Mill, NC; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Knight (Kenneth), Nancy Lykins (Jack), Anna Marie Dunlap, Michael Dunlap (Ronda), Steve Baughman (Becky), Jeff Baughman (Tami), Tony Baughman, Julie Philipoon (Joseph), Jeannine Hodges (Greg), Janette Casio (Sal), Kimberly Mannion (Mark), Paul Baughman, Jr., John Baughman (Tina), Emily Johnson (Carl), David Binford (Sureeporn) and Carla King (Chris); and his close friends, Joan, Ron McNight, Dan, Sharon Yenaro, Joe Mullins (Angie), Juli Kuyk, Anna Neil (Jamie), Randy Cox and Stachia Fields.
