He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Nusbaum and Clare Nusbaum. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Fitzwater; his children, Michael Nusbaum (Sydney) and Brooke Nusbaum (Andy); and his siblings, Mark Nusbaum (Cindy) of Naples, FL and Donna Genderson (Bruce) of Rockville, MD..

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Paul's honor to the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department.
