She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Perkins and Betty L. Perkins; and her brother-in-law Patrick Paxton. She is survived by: her husband A. J. Fields; her sons, Will (Tina) of Covington, VA and Andy (Cecilia) of New Bern, NC; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Xazil Johnson of Oak Island, NC, Andrea Garvey of Charlotte, NC and Giovanni Triana of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, John R. Perkins (Sally) of Charleston, WV, Polly Paxton of Jefferson, IN and David Perkins (Holly) of Harpers Ferry, WV; her brother-in-law Thomas Fields (Ann) of Charlottesville, VA; and her pet Abby. She is also survived by three greatgrandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
