She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Edens and Tressie P. Facemyer Edens; and her husband William Serles. She is survived by: her children, Roy, William Serles, Kathy Eads and Jessica Burdette; her siblings, Freddy A. Edens, Elberta Higdon, Louise Tolliver and Phyllis Schleigh; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Jack, Steven Eads, Sheana Serles, Shane Serles, William Serles, Danielle Serles, Santana Serles, Brooke Burdette and Mason Burdette. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
