She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hess Sr. and Virginia Shively Hess of South Charleston; her husband J. Darrel Richmond; her niece Belinda Sizemore; and her nephews, Joe Sizemore and Bobby Dale Belcher.
She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Hess Belcher, Freddie Hess Sizemore and Fred C. Hess, Jr.; her stepchildren, Jay Richmond (Dauna), Joy Ferguson (Steve) and Jeff Richmond (Paige); her nieces and nephews, Susan Wagner (Rick), Lynn Sizemore, Patrick Sizemore (Rochelle) and Michael S. Sizemore; and her close friend Patsy Thaw. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
