Opal Mae Newman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Mae Newman (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Crowder and Julia Abston Crowder; her husband Herman Newman; her brothers, Homer and Clayton Crowder; her grandchildren, Tara Marie Torrey and Michael Shayne Rollins; and her daughter-in-law Janice Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Bays (Ray), Richard Newman (Peggy), Larry Newman, Mark Newman (Carmen) and Kevin Newman (Brenda). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
