She is survived by: her children, Kitty Lawson and Gregory Johnson (Anna); her grandchildren, Regina Lucas (Anthony), Sharon Newsome (Terry), Kimberly Jones (David), James Lawson (Renita), Rachel Wade (Lucas) and Sarah Johnson; her siblings, Bruce, Roger Pennington, Everett Roach (Junior) and Sharon Roberts; and her partner Dale Chapman. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
