He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett Pennington and Martha Mae Pennington (Scragg); his siblings, Ray, Ernest, Louise, Ruby, Juanita, Ruth Pennington and David; his wife Betty Belle Pennington (McDaniel); his son Dr. Ernest Norman (Rebecca); his grandsons, Brian Michael Pennington (Leila Sale) of Austin and Dr. John David (Andrea); his daughter Deborah Louise Wright (David Stiles); his granddaughters, Jessica Lynn and Carrie Elizabeth; his son Jeffrey Louis (Marsha); his grandchild Kelly Michelle; his great grandchildren, John, Andrea, Nolan Sargent, Levi Gordon and Ava Faith Pennington; his brothers-in-law, Peyt, Marvin, Andy, Jimmy and Brad; his nephew Rick Pennington; his grandson John Pennington; and his grandfather Samuel Scragg.
