With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Jean Bailey of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Duck, West Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nellie Jean Bailey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Duffield and Mary Strickland Duffield; her husband Charles; and her siblings, Edna Kersey, Barbara Smith, Richard Duffield and Fannie Mollohan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Drenda Bumgardner (Rick) of Sissonville, Linda Willard (Danis) of Julian, NC and Lori Otey (Jason Ward) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Cory Good of Louisville, KY, Chris Good of Sissonville, Bailey Otey of Charleston and Riley Otey of Charleston; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica Bumgardner, Jamie Ward and Jacob Ward; and her siblings, Charles Duffield (Patty) of Summersville, WV, Emma Lou Patitucci of Marlton, NJ and Susan Ramsey of Gassaway, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 masks and social distancing will be required for those that attend.
