Miriam Abernethy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Miriam Abernethy of Charleston, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Mason and Miriam Briggs Mason. She is survived by: her husband Otis E. Abernethy, Jr.; her children, Robert J. Abernethy, Michael Abernethy (Alice) of Charleston, Miriam "Mimi" Deane (Evans) of Pawleys Island, SC and Sandy Mason Abernethy (Amy Lou) of Seattle, WA; her daughter-in-law Renee W. Abernethy of Wexford, PA.; and her grandchildren, Brandie Abernethy, Laura Greer, Colin Abernethy, Rob Deane, Megan Kerr, Christopher J. Abernethy and Helena Abernethy. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
