She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Kirk and Violet Doss Kirk; her children, Sharon Whittington and Timothy Whittington; and her sisters, Mary Burchett and Maxine Skaff.
She is survived by: her son Greg Whittington of Charleston; and her siblings, Shirley Gallo of New Jersey, Jean Allen of Charleston, Carol Wilkinson (Bob) of Nitro, Dean Kirk (Sue) of Charleston and Roger Kirk (Fil) of Charleston. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
