It is with great sadness that we announce the death of McKinley Thaxton of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Thaxton and Lena Holmes Thaxton; and his son Chris Thaxton. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Thaxton; his children, Anna McClanahan (Rick) and Doug (Farrah); his sister Thelma Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Robbie, Jeremy, Gregory, Hunter, Rachel and Kristen. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
