It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Smith (Charleston, West Virginia), born in Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2019, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tina Smith of Charleston and Tony Smith of Weston; his grandparents, Patricia Garton of Weston and Loren Smith of Churchville; his brother Sean Smith of Charleston; his half-brothers, Luke Smith of Weston and Logan Higgins of Weston; his aunt Lynn Tenney of Tallmansville; his nieces, Shaelynn and Selenah Smith; his nephew Kaeson Smith; his grandparents, Roger Dale Swiger and Helen Smith; and his great-grandparents, Tessie Gerry Garton and Bobby Gene Garton. He was also cherished by his two nieces, his nephew and his big brother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the funeral home to aid with final expenses.
