It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Wayne Harper of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur, Betty Lupson of Charleston, WV and Richard Lee Harper of Charleston, WV.. He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Wayne Harper (Tammy) and Donna Marie Lupson Harper; his granddaughter Hazel Renee; his wife Melissa Pernell Harper; his son Alex Mobley; his grandmother Shelva Jean Pettit (Joe); his friends, Eddie Ramsey, Corky Kessel of Charleston and Matt; his uncle Roger Dale Lupson of Harrodsburg; and his cousins, Robert Redmond, Steve Lupson II and Timothy Lupson II of Charleston, WV. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
