She was predeceased by: her husband J. Lyle Gillespie; her parents, Victor Daoust and Blanche Daoust; and her sister Aileen Sauzer. She is survived by: her children, Donna Bell (Michael) and David Gillespie (Marjorie); her grandchildren, Brian Arden (Linsay), Timothy Arden (Kara), Paige Ricci (John) and Andrew Gillespie; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Nola.
In lieu of flowers, Katy requested that donations be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church building fund, 1401 Washington St. W, Charleston, WV 25387.
