She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Wade and Ada Hazel Giles Harper; her husband Clifford Hunter; her son Ronnie Hunter; and her granddaughter Erin Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Wade Hunter of Pearisburg, Virginia, Carol Perry of Campbells Creek and Brenda Barreto of Burford, Georgia. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
