It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Bane of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Coal City, West Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ransom Cole and Mary Alma Cole (Dodd); and her brother Robert Conway Bane, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Conway Bane; her children, Robert Bane II (Carol) of Charleston, Greg Bane (Lisa) of Hurricane and Joanna Watters (Alan) of Silsbee, Texas; her grandchildren, Brian Bane (Jeanette), Andrew Bane, John Watters, Luke Watters, Jennifer Watters and Lauren Bane; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Bane and Olivia Bane.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Heart and Hand of South Charleston or the Salvation Army.
