He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Audley and Reva Jane Kelley; and his daughter Elizabeth Ann Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hackney Kelley (Hall) of South Charleston, WV; his daughter Sarah Kelley (Brian) of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Christy Kelley of Ripley, WV and Joseph Kelley (Felicity) of Fairplain, WV.; his nieces, Polla Johnson, Pamela VanHoy, Priscilla Parsons and Cora Jane Kelley; his nephew David J. Kelley; his aunts, Ruth Hall of Ripley, WV, Ellen Smith of Lebanon, OH and June Hill of Beverly, OH.; his pet Liberty; and his friend Jam Sessions.
