It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lourenda Slater Bailey of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rome Alton and Martha Malcolm Slater; and her sister Elizabeth Slater. She is survived by: her husband Russell "Mack" Bailey; her children, Connie Mayle (Larry), Teresa Hughes (Kent) and Russell "Russ" Bailey (Cindy); and her brother Michael Slater. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Bailey Endowed Scholarship, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, 4923 Kentucky Street, South Charleston, WV 25303.
