She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sloan and Doris Sloan; and her siblings, Barbara Sloan, Terry Miller and Stanley Sloan.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Edward Blount; her children, April McCormick and Jason Blount of Campbells Creek; her grandsons, Matthew McCormick and Zachary Ellis; her siblings, Beverly Casto of Campbells Creek, Blake Miller of St. Albans and Sam Sloan of Charleston; and her sisters-in-law, Janie Miller of Campbells Creek, Cindy Sloan of Campbells Creek and Debi Jones of Campbells Creek.
