She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth C. Abbott and Lottie V. Thompson Abbott; her spouse Shirland D. Kemp; and her sister Lela M. Williams. She is survived by: her children, Kandace DeVincentis (Ronald) of Norcross, GA and Kenneth Kemp (Diana) of Charleston, WV; and her sister Helen Seagers (William) of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
