Loretta Kay Wilson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Kay Wilson of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin T. Cook and Emma Loveall Cook. She is survived by: her husband Billy Wilson; her son John Michael Townsend (Holly); her stepsons, Jim Wilson (Kim) and Mark Wilson (Michelle); her siblings, Georgia, Donna Cook of Charleston, Betty Perry (Phillip) of St. Albans, Lorena Rowe (Jim) of Stafford, Virginia and Ben Cook, Jr. (Lee Ann) of Little Hocking, Ohio.; and her brothers-in-law, Randy Wilson (Shirley) of Charleston, Arthur "Buddy" Wilson (Shirley) of Sanford and Robert "Bobby" Dearien (Brenda) of Charleston. She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren and 4 step- great grandchildren.
There will be a private graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston for immediate family only on Thursday, October 1 and a memorial service to be announced at a later date due to COVID 19.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Loretta be made to the Campbells Creek Food Pantry 543 Campbells Creek Drive, Charleston, WV 25306.
