We bid farewell to Loretta Katheryn Smith of Charleston, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Loretta Katheryn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Smith of St. Clairsville, OH; her parents, George Gordon Keith III and Frances Adeline Brezack Keith of Beckley, WV; her siblings, Mary Frances Young and George Gordan Keith IV; and her niece Diane Lynn Young.
She is survived by: her sister Debby Chandler of Charleston, WV; her brothers-in-law, Gary Chandler and Gary Young; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph Chandler (Kim) of Conroe, TX, Scott Chandler (Alicia) of Charleston, WV, Gregory Chandler of Charleston, WV, John Keith of Holly Springs, NC, Tiffany Jelovich of Raleigh, NC and Kathy Young Arner of Rockingham, NC. She is also survived by six great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Elk Hills Presbyterian Church.
