She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Foster and Mabel Harless Foster; her husband James Nile Clinton Sr.; her children, Tresa Roberts, James Nile Clinton Jr. and Carl Wayne Clinton; and her siblings, Lovella Hannan, Donald and Ronald Foster.

She is survived by: her daughter Lora Walker (Bobby) of Charleston; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Sowards of Hurricane and David Foster of Charleston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
