She was predeceased by: her husband George Paul Farris; her daughter Karen Sue Farris; and her parents, Samuel Dale and Hattie Starkey Harkins. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Allender of Charleston, Melissa Farris of Charleston and Joseph G. Farris (Pamela) of South Charleston; her grandchildren, Kristine Allender of Orlando, Felicia Allender of Charleston, Michael Farris of Charleston and Taylor Farris of South Charleston; and her great grandchildren, Robert and Alexandria Allender.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Kanawha County Library or Hubbard Hospice House.
