She is survived by: her sons, David Ira Simpkins (Marsha) and Rodney Michael Simpkins (Melody); her grandchildren, Christine Simpkins-Izutani (Kousuke), Matthew Simpkins (Cassie) and Jon-Michael Simpkins (Michell); her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Ellison Izutani, Matthew, Jr., Baby Boy Simpkins, Charlotte and Leo Simpkins; her brother Paul W. Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Simpkins Chafin and Vencin Riddle.
